Awesome day and thanks to all who prayed, donated $$ & school supplies, volunteered, served God as the body of Christ. God shows up & shows out when we come together and serve Him by helping others! You brought many smiles to many faces today! Praise all be to God!!!
Thanks to Perfect Aim!
So thankful for Perfect Aim, the Beebe brothers & friends for sharing their talent of music & provide live Christian music for us to have fun & worship all day! I love watching children serve the Lord!
Most Importantly Seeds Were Planted....
Many bibles were given out, and 2 children prayed to receive Christ! That in itself made the day worth it!
Water Slides
We had lots of fun on the Water Slides, we proved we can have fun in the Son...thanks to Harvest Party Rentals!
Carnival Games
A special thanks to Rocky Hill Baptist Church for providing a perfect lesson on Jeremiah 29:11 reminding them of the incredible plan God has for their lives, as well as proving all the carnival games for the kids to earn more school supplies.
600 Backpacks Received
God's Glory was evident today when we received 600 backpacks, and we had 600 children showed up today! He always provides all of our needs! Thanks to all who donated, and a special thanks to Becky, who donated over 200 herself! We love you all!
Awesome Volunteers
We are so thankful for those who volunteered to serve today! We had 140 people who helped make this run so smoothly this year. Thank you all, and I love seeing the body of Christ come together to serve Him and help others!
Our Financial Need were Met, of course!
We are so thankful that God met our financial needs to provide volunteer t-shirts, police patrol, water slides, dunking machines, food for 1000 people, and every need to provide all of this free of charge for the community. God is good, and continues to provide whatever is necessary when we do whatever He wants!
Back to School Block Party 2009
On Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 10 AM until 2 PM, we will host our 4th annual Back to School Block party. Our goal is to provide over 600 new backpacks and school supplies to the children in downtown Knoxville. This is an awesome opportunity to meet some special children downtown, and meet an important need by providing new backpacks & school supplies, but also a fun day in Jesus' name!! A great way to have fun in the Son!!
